The purification was made by direct crystallization and zone melting methods, the identification - by DTA and XRD methods. The character of interaction in homogeneous area of compounds Tl3AsS4, Tl3AsSe3, TlInS2 was investigated, T - x diagrams of former systems have been built. The optimal conditions of crystal growth based on T - x diagrams were established. Single crystals of Tl3AsS4, Tl3AsSe3, TlInS2 compounds were grown by direct crystallization of melt (Bridgman - Stocbarger method) up to 24 - 26 mm in diameter and 40 - 70 mm long. The optimal solidification rate was 0.09-0.36 mm/h, the temperature gradient at the solid-liquid interface was 5 - 9 K/mm. The crystal structure of thallium (I) thioindate TlInS2 was established. The orientated elements for acoustooptic investigations were prepared from Tl3AsS4, Tl3AsSe3, TlInS2 single crystals.
