Based on geographical variation of Aat-1 locus allele frequencies , we can conclude genetic heterogeneity of species A. angulosus. This fact is also confirmed by genetic differentiation of populations, designed by M. Nei index. The results there is a clear alozyme difference of A. leptodactylus and A. angulosus. Because these species are sympatric, the mere presence of genetic differences is evidence of reproductive isolation and species independence. Despite the significant age, sex and geographic variability of different species are well on the set of standard morphometric parameters. However, any of them are close to species of diagnostic doubt. In Ukraine A. astacus is endangered species, with habitat declining. In Pripyat basin presented a small isolated population in the district of Kremenets Ternopil region, with tendency to disappear. The most numerous are undoubtedly A. angulosus. A. leptodactylus is also quite large, but are less common. A. astacus is traditionally few.
