In total there were collected 37 samples of adenocarcinoma, 29 samples of conventionally normal tissues and 16 samples of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Total RNA from these samples were obtained and tested for quality. Control for normalization of quantitative real time PCR data in the prostate adenocarcinoma samples for genes TAGLN, FOS, IL1B, EFNA5, EPDR1, TGFB1, PLAU was selected. Levels of relative gene expression for these genes were obtained compared to paired conventionally normal tissues. Changes were found in a range from 6.9% to 44.8%. A bioinformatic analysis of the expression levels of the selected genes (TAGLN, FOS, IL1B, EFNA5, EPDR1, TGFB1, PLAU) of an open database NCBI Geo Datasets was done. For genes TAGLN, EFNA5 and PLAU there was found trend in decrease of relative levels of gene expression in prostate tumor samples and cell lines compared to conventionally normal tissues.
