Purpose of studies - to determine the influence of fast filtration and migration zones (FFMZ), lineaments and depressions on groundwater resources formation, based on test modelling. New methodological approach to studying groundwater resources with the use of hydrogeological models was developed, based on determination of their relationship with the landscape components - anomalous fast filtration and migration zones. The new methodical approach allows revealing significant additional reserves of natural groundwater resources at the regional scale. As a result of studies the data were obtained on regional allocation of anomalous fast filtration and migration zones in geological environment within the Kyiv and a part of the Chernigiv regions. Typification of given zones by degree of development, morphological features, geodynamic and hydrodynamic activity was made, as well as assessment of their influence on groundwater resources formation. According to the aerial images decoding and topographic maps, the scheme was created showing highly dynamic sites (zones of anomalously fast filtration) manifested in the present relief of the studied area. Qualitative and quantitative features of the groundwater dynamics were determined in the fast filtration zones and their differences from the background areas. Integral assessment was conducted of the anomalous fast filtration zones influence on groundwater resources formation over the studied area. Test modelling of groundwater resources was performed for hydrogeological systems within the Kyiv region, taking into account the anomalous fast filtration and migration zones.
