These nanosedimentological investigation techniques were implemented. As a result structural, textural, mineralogical and geochemical features of silicites and silicite containing rocks were established; silicites morphological features and three mineral phases of the silica (biogenic opal-A, abiogenic opal and opal-CT) were distinguished; biogenic opal-A to opal-CT transformation regularities during diagenesis (siliceous rocks Paleogene subformation of the Dnipro-Donets depression, as example) and also opal-C to opal-CT and quartz (siliceous rocks Cretaceous subformation of the Volyno-Podillia and Kaniv Dnieper, as example) were established. Influence of the adjacent strata on the crystallization kinetics of the silica modifications has been determined. Clinoptilolite-christobalite-tridymite unique layers in the Cretaceous (Albian-Cenomanian) sediments of the Volyn-Podillia were described. The main nanosedimentological structure peculiarities of the Vendian, Cretaceous and Paleogene formations phosphates have been established for the first time, and their ultramicrostructures main genetic types (biomorphic, microbial, diagenetic, hypergenetic ets.) have been distinguished.
