The aim of work is the improvement of theoretical and methodical issues of enterprise value management based on usage of mechanisms of capital structure optimization. Research methods: system-structural analysis, method of logical generalization, method of comparison, method of forecasting, method of economic and mathematic modeling, graphic method. Research results: is the improvement of methodical approaches to value-based management of the enterprises based on the usage of value gaps that will allow to increase the efficiency of their activity in the current economic context. The novelty of the results: the methodical issues of the evaluation of gap of the weighted average cost of capital (WACC) was developed; the place of the method of value gap (including evaluation and prediction of the gap of WACC) in the mechanisms of management of the financial activity of the enterprise was grounded; the matrix of selection instruments of value gap management depending on the value gap size and financial possibilities of the enterprise was suggested.
