The article of research is a process of functioning of the internal checking system in Department defense of Ukraine. An aim of researches is a ground of suggestions in relation the improvement of the internal checking system in Department defense of Ukraine the basis of analysis of modern scientific developments legislation of Ukraine and foreign experience. Researches were conducted application of methods analysis of the systems supervision and comparison.
