The aimof the project is develop a new approach to the study of photoinduced generation of unstable radicals of diverse structure (N-oxyimides, N-oxybenztriazoles and N-oxyamides). The search of the best approach for rapid photochemical generation of radicals within the millisecond time frame is currently very topical. Research methods - ultraviolet spectroscopy, pulse photolysis. The first phase of the project is devoted to the synthesis of two precursors for generation of N-oxyl radicals: N - tryphenylmethoxyphthalimide and oxalic acid ester of 1-hydroxybenzotriazole. UV properties were determined for a number of different nitroxyl radicals, generated by the interaction between the corresponding N-hydroxyphthalimides and chemical oxidants.
