Nitroxyl radicals or their complexes were used as catalyst. Interaction of radical precursor - N-hydroxyimides, N-hydroxyamides, N-hydroxyimines - with clusters or structured metal nanoparticles can generate free radicals of various structures that may enhance the catalysis or inhibition of oxidation. Aldimine and N-oxide complexes of metals is used as inhibitor models. Within the first phase of project the synthesis of complexes based on N-salicylaldimine were performed.The structures were fully characterized by IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Moreover a number of N- hydroxyimide with different substituents on the aromatic ring were synthetized for the study of their behaviour during the homogeneous aerobic oxidation. The purity of the compounds and their compliance with the target structure was confirmed by NMR spectroscopy and liquid chromatography. Also it carried out the synthesis of carbon nano-objects - nanoonions.
