Purpose: The use of hydrogen as a fuel in the contact heat generator for heating and hot water will increase the energy efficiency, environmental safety, reliability and quality of the systems and processes of urban heat, individual residential and industrial areas and will contribute to the opening of capabilities the output of the country to a clean technology markets and equipment. Result: New approaches and methodological basis for the use of hydrogen fuel in a contact heat generator for heat production in the communal energy facilities have been developed. By using contact heat generator running on hydrogen fuel, it achieved high efficiency of the equipment (efficiency at the level of 105-106%), received high-quality environmentally-friendly heat production due to the absence of harmful substances in exhaust gases. Also there was the possibility of obtaining an additional amount of water in the system due to the the chemical reaction of oxygen compounds with "free" hydrogen in the contact nozzle, there is the ability of the location of the heat source directly in buildings due to the small size and the opportunity to concentrations high thermal capacity in a small heat source. Mathematical models of the hydrogen burner micro flare type and combustion chamber in 3-D format in modern software Solidworks were created. Complex investigations of aerodynamic and forming a mixture of hydrogen properties of the element, the burner and the combustion chamber of the heat generator in Solidworks models were produced. Principle and thermal circuit, structural features of the body and the components of the heat hydrogen generator have been developed. Creation of scientific and methodological basis for the definition of energy efficiency and economic evaluation of the use of hydrogen fuel in units of contact-type in energy systems. Developed technical proposal and the recommendation for the manufacture and use of the contact heat generator of new generation in the municipal heat and power engineering.
