The thermal effect of the gap filler has been taken into account by thermal resistance dependent on a gap height, and the mechanical effect - by its pressure on the surfaces of the bodies. The materials of the bodies have been assumed to be identical when investigating the partial slip phenomenon. The ideal gas has been selected for the physical model of the gas. The effects of the gas pressure and the applied force and thermal loads on gap deforming, thermal contact resistance and slip zones propagation. Each of the formulated contact problems has been reduced to a corresponding system of singular integro-differential equations, and separate analytical-numerical techniques have been developed to solve them. The calculations have been carried out for real materials (stainless steel AISI 304, aluminium alloy A380) and gases (air, argon, krypton, helium, carbon dioxide). The thermomechanical influence of the intercontact medium and the influence of the force and thermal loads on the interface gap width, the gas temperature, the thermal contact resistance in the case of action of gas pressure and its absence, the thermal rectification level, the slip zones extent, the relative shift of the surfaces of the bodies and the contact shear stress distribution have been analyzed.
