The heavy membrane is placed on the free surface of the liquid and fixed on the outer and inner contours. Frequency equation of coupled natural vibrations of annular membrane and a liquid is derived and investigated. The influence of G-load, tension and geometry of the membrane and depth of filling on the first natural frequency is measured. It is shown that buckling of equilibrium flatness of the membrane is possible only at negative accelerations and it happens for certain values of the scalar G-load. Critical values of tension and G-load are calculated with the help of the static and dynamic approaches. It is shown that they do not depend on the inertia of the membrane and the depth of filling, and that the static approach gives the values of critical tension and G-load with adequate accuracy for practical application. Numerical investigations are performed and analyzed for a wide range of parameters of the considered mechanical system.
