An experimental setup and technique were developed. Scale corrosion resistance evaluated during its formation in hard water and influence on the process of antiscalants and ultrasonic exposure at various exposure and processing power intensity mode and the cavitation conditions. The functional dependence of the growth of specific weight scale and corrosion rates of steel were obtained, depending on the composition of water and modes of ultrasonic irradiation. The morphology and structure of scale layers formed under different conditions and power of ultrasonic irradiation were studied by scanning electron microscopy.
