The purpose of study is to develop average cost indicators of road machinery and mechanisms operation in response to changes in prices for material and technical, labor resources and emergence of estimate standards for modern machines in the regulations; calculation and adjustment of aggregated estimated prices and road works performance standards in response to changes in prices for logistical, labour resources and changes in the departmental estimate-regulatory framework. The research method is collecting and analyzing the data provided by public and private contractor enterprises in the road sector about the costs incurred for the purchase of road machinery and mechanisms and for their maintenance (repair); the cost of consumable materials; updating the current prices for fuel and lubricants and labour resources; monitoring the changes in the estimate-regulatory framework; monitoring the existing estimate standards and identifying the problems at their application, reviewing scientific literature, regulations, systematization and synthesis of the received information.
