Purpose of the work is developing of the recommendations for extending the life of thermal power equipment. The method of the study is to assess the residual life of elements, which are under the influence of high temperature and in the conditions of non-uniformity of the field gas temperatures. On the basis of experimental studies and mathematical modeling technique is developed and justified the calculation and experimental evaluation of the impact of the local unevenness of heat flows on a defect and residual life of the elements of power equipment. Results of the work are introduced in burners on boilers LLC "Zhitomirteploenergo". The economic effect is of 100 thousands uah. for one boiler. Application area - heat-generating installations of various purposes, boilers, ovens, driers, etc. in energy and industry.
