Objectives: synthesis and investigation of organized molecular systems based on mixed micelles and metallomicelles of functional surfactants. Methods: UV spectroscopy; potentiometry; dynamic light scattering; tensiometry; IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR; elemental analysis; general preparative techniques and synthetic chemistry. During the project, an integrated approach was applied to the synthesis of amphiphilic ligands for metal ions, which form functional metallomicelles in aqueous solution, and the method of preparation of functional surfactant and their methyl analogs. The solubility of the new compounds studied depending on pH, temperature and the presence of metal ions shows that the solubility increases with pH <6. An approach of determination of the stoichiometry of complexes using UV-spectroscopy was proposed. It was demonstrated that the novel surfactants do not form aggregates of a higher order than conventional spherical micelles. A preliminary assessment of the effectiveness of the systems was carried out in the reaction of obtained carbon-carbon bond formation involving iodoaromatic compounds. The scientific merit of the theory consists in the development of organized molecular systems and the theory of reactivity. Scientific novelty – elaboration of an approach to the development of new amphiphilic catalytic systems based on metallomicelles containing functional ligands - pentaerythritol derivatives and earth-abundant transition metals. Practical significance - functional organized molecular systems (including mixed micellar systems) fit to the principles of green chemistry and can be used as catalysts for C-C bond formation in aqueous solution.
