Object of research - the resonance phenomenon in the thick-walled diaphragms and a rectangular, V- and U-shaped windows and partial dielectric filling. Purpose - estimation dependences of the properties of resonance phenomena in the thick diaphragms waveguides on the shape and geometry inserts windows and partial dielectric filling. Research Methods - analytical, computer simulation. Results: the computer models of the waveguide inserts with partial dielectric filling in a rectangular waveguide; the structure of the electromagnetic field in the box and also on the surface of insulators of different shapes were received and analyzed; obtained according to the resonant frequency of the measuring cell with thick-walled rectangular inset on the position, size, shape and dielectric properties of partially filling material; shows the expansion of the resonance frequency of the tuning range of the linear change in the permittivity of samples arranged in a thick-walled box with a rectangular aperture, V- and U-shaped windows, depending on the position, size, shape and properties of the dielectric material partially filling. Scope - instrumentation, metrology equipment.
