The study aims to provide desired performance objectives firing workers security forces using lethal firearms and non-lethal action based on scientific substantiation requirements for its technical characteristics. Methods - analytical methods for determining the performance of fire, solving the direct problem of internal ballistics and ballistics main task of foreign methods of statistical analysis of empirical data. In scientific work the theoretical generalization and new solution of scientific and applied tasks given to ensure the effectiveness of the specific tasks of firing workers and security forces. Obtained scientific results: the time required to model aiming with optical sight and aims to capture the attention of an optical sight; improved model of the time required to perform the task of sniper fire, which, unlike the existing ones, contains expressions for periods of time sighting and capture objectives; Depending empirical angle field of view of the multiplicity of optical sights for a number of which are in service with the security forces of Ukraine; Depending empirical standard deviation coordinates guided sights on the goal of their multiplicity for a number of optical sights; The method of forming the requirements for the technical specifications of small arms for the security forces. On the basis of this paper research results practical recommendations on forming requirements to the technical characteristics of small arms.
