The main purpose of the study is the development of composition and technology of obtaining thermal insulation granulated and block materials based on water glass compositions, as well as methods of control of swelling processes in the microwave installation. Heat-resistant and fire-resistant low-density materials with low thermal conductivity and high strength were obtained. It can be used as insulation in the building.
