The subject of its realization is the study and introduction into the scientific circulation of a new range of sources, analasis and thinking over the scientific native and foreign literature based on the modern methodology. The results of the study can be used for the reconstruction of the peculiarities of the realization, place and role of the societal changes in the historical and civilization development of the Ukrainian nation in the European and world community. The theme was mainly studied by the Chair of the History of Ukraine (16 full-time lectures, including 2 Doctors of History, professors, 13 Kandidats Nauk (Ph.D), associate professors, 7 Doctor of History and 32 Ph.D candidates). The theme included 3 colloborative and 57 individual themes. The five-year-long activity has resulted into defending of 5 Doctor of History and 27 Ph.D dissertations, publishing over 1000 scientific papers, in particular over 30 monographs, books, research collections, about 40 textbooks, and more than 400 research articles in the scientific professional publications and journals.
