Established the influence of temperature and time – parameters of thermodiffusion nitriding, on the characteristics of the surface layers of the modified two-phase VT6 titanium alloy. It is shown the temperature influence on the thickness of nitride surface film and increasing the size of the diffusion layer VT6 alloy. With increasing temperature and time – the parameters of nitriding, due to intensification nitride forming (formation and growth of nitride film) increases the surface roughness of the alloy VT6. With increasing saturation duration to 5 hours the VT6 alloy surface quality deteriorates on class after saturation at 800°C and for two - 850°C and 900°C.
