The stand to determine the physical and mechanical properties of materials in gas (oxygen, hydrogen, argon, nitrogen) environments using the methods of shifting interferometry, digital image correlation and acoustic emission zone prefracture was mounted. Comparative analysis of the mechanical and physical characteristics (bend strength in technological environments and oxidation resistance) of traditional materials for solid oxide fuel cell and proposed interconnect materials based on titanium MAX - phase was carred out.
