Research subject is the relationship between economic entities of different levels of government, arising on the formation and implementation of incentive mechanisms for dematerialization and energy efficiency of the national economy. Research purpose is to develop and study theoretical and methodological principles for the formation and implementation of incentive dematerialization change mechanisms and energy efficiency of the national economy in the context of sustainable development and information society. Research methods are comparative and statistical, logic synthesis method, system-structural analysis, methods of fuzzy logic and methods of economic-mathematical modeling and analysis, expert methods, etc. The report improved theoretical principles of environmentally focused dematerialization and increase of energy production and consumption. The approaches to assessing the level of dematerialization and energy efficiency of the national economy, taking into account their ecological and socio-economic effects at various levels of management are developed. Factors of motivational influence on the process of dematerialization and energy changes in the national economy based on the model of the material and energy balance are presented. Multilevel motivational mechanisms, strategies and motivational system management instruments for dematerialization and increasing energy efficiency are formulated. Organizational and institutional framework for implementing incentive mechanisms, evidence-based directions for implementation of dematerialization and energy efficiency changes in the economy of Ukraine are developed.
