At such temperature the existence of compound Co1,85In0,15Mn have been found, which crystallizes in the structural type Ti2Ni. According to published data, compounds with such chemical composition may have a "memory effect" that causes a practical interest in this compound. Synthesis by arc melting magnetocaloric phases with structure type NaZn13 is ineffective. First synthesized samples of: LaFe11,5Si0,7M0,8; (M = Ga, Al, Sb); LaFe11TSi1,5 (T = Zr, Ti); La0,5Mg0,5Fe11,5Si1,5. Impurities of iron have been found in samples (~ 10%), which prevents pest magnetic properties. LaFe11,4Si0,4P1,2 alloy have been synthesized as an example to show impact of valence electrons. The phase equilibria in the RE-Mg-transition metal system have been studied. Hydrogenation properties have been studied for some intermetallic compounds.
