Ovcharenko Institute of biocolloidal Chemistry NAS of Ukraine popup.description2 The Institute Biocolloidal Chemistry. FD Ovcharenko NAS of Ukraine conducted the study of the formation of iron-oxide and iron hydroxide-disperse structures and identified the main factors that affect the phase composition, dispersion, physical, chemical and colloid-chemical properties of these structures. At the same time, established a number of nucleation process parameters that affect the formation of iron oxides and oksyhidroksydiv different crystallographic modifications and a methodology directed synthesis of iron-oxide and iron hydroxide-monofaz. Monofazy received, including ferrites 3d-metals used in biomedical research and demonstrated biological and catalytic activity, particularly with respect to the phospholipid model systems. The presence of ferromagnetic properties makes these structures promising for use as carriers for the directed delivery of drugs in a magnetic field to create materials for magneto hyperthermia more. However, for practical use, particularly in medicine and biology important issue is the stability of the particles in the dispersion medium. In this regard, we have studied the behavior of a number monofaz in the aquatic environment, set conditions for the formation of stable sols and the influence of substances, stabilizers origin, formation and phase transformations, including oksyhidroksydiv iron - goethite and lepidocrocite oxides and ferrites.
