S. Berezhnoy" popup.description2 The research object is the alumina MARTOXID brand, temporary binder, dispersing additive, corundum ceramics produced by slip casting and extrusion methods. The purpose of the work is improvement technology of corundum ceramics. The research methods are chemical, petrographic, electronmicroscopic and physic mechanical ones. The researches of influence a quantity the additive, which makes a raw samples stronger, on rheological and casting properties of slip with apparent density 2.1 g/cm3 from alumina MARTOXID brand basis with the optimum quantity of additive, which makes a raw samples stronger, as well as properties of the samples corundum ceramics before and after firing were carry out. It was established that the inputing the optimum quantity of additive, which makes a raw samples stronger, reduces the dynamic viscosity of the slip to a minimum value, increases the apparent density and cold crushing strength of the raw samples corundum ceramics in 1.2 and 2 times respectively, and after firing at temperature 1580 °C the open porosity of the samples satisfy to normative according to high refractory corundum especially density products of КОПМ brand (no more 0.8 %). The researches of the dependence dynamic viscosity the slips from the alumina MARTOXID brand basis for the slip with the additives that dispersed and strengthen in the optimum quantity for the manufacture product with a wall thickness by drainage method and for the slip with only the dispersing additive for the manufacture product with a wall thickness by bulk method were carry out. It was established that the dynamic viscosity of these slippers after their keeping during 24 hours reduced by ~ 1.4 times, then practically does not change with an increase after keeping over than 168 hours. As a result of the researches a sedimentation resistance of these slippers established that they are characterized by high values of the coefficient of stability and this positively effects the homogeneity of the structure and properties of green samples and corundum ceramics by slip casting method. The investigations of the dependence plastic strength alumina masses on the binder from their moisture and keeping time were carry out. It was established that the optimum humidity content in the mass for production corundum ceramics in the form of tubes by the extrusion method from the alumina MARTOXID brand is 19 % and from the alumina CT brand - 20 %. It was established that these mass should not be keeper more than 7 days. As a result of the researches, technologies of corundum ceramics were improved and normative documentation was developed and approved. In accordance with the existing normative documentation and contracts terms on trial plant of PJSC "THE URIR NAMED AFTER A.S. BEREZHNOY" the trial lots high refractory corundum especially density products were produced in financing volume and delivered to the customers.
