G. Yanovsky popup.description2 Object - 146 patients with infectious exacerbation (IE) of chronic bronchitis (CB), 49 virus strains, 26 strains of bacteria. Aim - to increase the effectiveness of treatment of patients with viral IE CB by optimizing the use of diagnostic and drugs with antiviral activity. Methods - clinical, functional, microbiological, statistics. Diagnostic scheme of IE HB, includes methods of clinical-functional, instrumental and laboratory diagnostics - immunochromatographic "rapid" tests, the multiplex polymerase chain reaction and determining the level of C-reactive protein serum, was developed. New data on the seasonal character of the spectrum of pathogens IE HB in 67,0 % of patients was obtained - in 44,0 % of cases identified viral pathogens, 35,0 % - bacterial, 21,0 % - of their association. Developed the scheme of treatment of patients with IE HB through the use of inhaled decametoxine that reduce the intensity and duration (on 1-2 days) of symptoms of IE, avoid or reduced duration of antibiotic therapy, in combination with the drug L-arginine aspartate - reduced duration of IO on 2,4 days due to positive changes of free radical peroxidation of lipids. Prophylactic use of bacterial lysates reduce the frequency and severity of IE CB, and the need for antibiotics.
