Methods of mathematical modeling. Theoretical and practical results 1. The analysis of fuel and energy resources of the planet, which led to the conclusion about the need to develop the direction of alternative fuels use in power plants of smaller vessels. In particular, as the most promising for the Ukrainian fuel, which has a wide source of raw materials, ethanol can be identified. Overview of the possible ways of its application in reciprocating internal combustion engines has shown that the use of TCA heat SH to produce synthesis gas will increase the efficiency of engines running on ethanol, as well as allow the use of fuel ethanol in those engines where its use is difficult to achieve (diesel internal combustion engine of the ship and stationary destination). 2. The mathematical model of the power plant low-tonnage vessel on the basis of the internal combustion engine running on syngas with TCA heat SH, which is based on the fundamental equations of thermodynamics, thermochemistry, gas dynamics, heat and mass transfer, and takes into account the fuel conversion process into syngas . The mathematical model makes it possible to count and examine the parameters of the processes occurring in the internal combustion engine, to determine the flow of energy and its distribution and allows for numerous studies of processes in a wide range of regime parameters. 3. Verification of mathematical models of components of the power plant on the basis of the internal combustion engine working on the synthesis gas with thermochemical heat recovery of exhaust gases. Maximum relative rms error calculation parameters derived from models, does not exceed 12%. Novelty: Proposals for finding the dependence of variable value of the index of combustion and duration of combustion. The effectiveness of implementation not implemented Scope (area) use Shipbuilding, engine building, machine building Product Description popup.authors А. С. Познанський А. Ю. Проскурін Ю. М.
