Objective: to examine the frequency of contamination of the herpes virus in peripheral blood and brain tumors of various histostructure and state general and specific antiviral immunity, clinical peculiarities of ectodermal brain tumors that are associated with viruses. Research methods: immunological methods, molecular-genetic, cultural, microscopic methods, imunocytofluorestsent methods and methods cytoflyuorymetri. Results: the presence of herpes viruses such as CMV and EBV in different histostructure tumors, tumor incidence of contamination depend on the method of determining the virus - at imunotsytofluorestsentnyh studies of tumor cells in CMV viral antigens 2-2.5 frequently detected in tumors than the identified viral DNA PCR. PCR showed that most infected with cytomegalovirus, and Epstein-Barr virus is glioblastoma. The lowest percentage of contamination by viruses found in meningiomas. In the blood of patients with tumors CMV is very rare, not more than 6 %, while EBV is found in 20-25 % of specimens. Determination of humoral antiviral immunity, namely IgG antibodies in the blood serum of patients with different histogenesis and degree of malignancy of brain tumors, has not revealed the likely differences in the frequency and levels of antibodies to CMV, EBV, rubella virus, HSV-1. Established that patients with glial tumors revealed inhibition of T-cell immune response, while maintaining the activity of B-cells and growing imbalance in the composition of lymphocyte subpopulations of particular populations CD-16 killer cells. Revealed changes in the immune system more pronounced in the presence of CMV in glioblastoma cells, which may be one reason as getting the virus in the tumor focus and onkostymulyatsiyi, characterized by intense signs of inflammation, and appears leukocytosis, increased ESR and lymphopenia. Determining the nature of viral contamination of malignant brain tumors can serve as a basis for inclusion of antiviral therapy in the combined treatment of malignant tumors. Areas of application implementation: to further scientific research and in clinical practice (neurooncology, oncology, neurosurgery).
