Model of the open permeable spinal cord injury with prolonged persistence of a foreign body in the spinal canal satisfactorily reproduces the mechanical component of the foreign body effect on the spinal cord tissue, presents the most expressive picture of post-traumatic spasticity syndrome; reducing the spinal cord compression even at the late period of injury significantly improves the efficiency of the regeneration process. Changes in the activity of the motor system efferent part during the spasticity syndrome formation in these models of injuries concerns both sides of the spinal cord - injured and intact. Approved types of neurotransplantation provide a temporary effect, continuing during the first month of the traumatic process, significant influence on the course of spasticity syndrome; the study of the pathophysiological mechanisms of this effect can significantly improve understanding of tissue processes after multicomponent neuroengineering interventions.
