Objective - To improve the results of surgical treatment of patients with glial brain tumors using integrated laser and navigation technology. The relevance of research lies in the fact that the conduct of an adequate and comprehensive planning of the surgical removal of tumors in eloquent areas of the brain with the use of surgical navigation technology can reduce the risk of movement disorders and improve treatment outcomes. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the fact that the analysis of the results of surgical interventions with integrated navigation and use of laser technology allows for a scientific level to prove the effectiveness of this combination at all stages of the surgical removal of intracranial tumors is directly reflected in the qualitative improvement of results of treatment of patients with this pathology.Obtained thanks to the opportunities neuronavigation station comprehensive information about the characteristics of intracerebral tumors (tumor size, its structure, size and the prevalence of perifocal edema, the degree of displacement of structures of the middle line, the ratio of tumor to the brain ventricles and major vessels) in combination with the unique capabilities of the laser radiation used in step removal of the tumor, can significantly reduce the risk of neurological deficits in patients in the postoperative period, helps to optimize the method of removing the achievement of maximum radical surgery. The practical value of the results lies in the fact that the holding of adequate planning of neurosurgical interventions involving neuronavigation technology can improve outcomes in patients with tumors of the functionally important brain areas by minimizing the risk of postoperative motor disorders and improve postoperative quality of life in patients with brain tumors.
