Purpose - to improve the accuracy of the modeling method of growth and development of damage to metal surfaces and alloys due to the ravages of corrosion based on the use of cellular automata and images point to elucidate the influence of temperature and corrosive environment to speed the flow and depth of corrosion defects. The scientific and practical results: - The theory of point processes for technical diagnostics of continuous service affected, corrosion piting, and a new approach to modeling of corrosion defects using cellular automata; - Received a new mathematical model of piting defects by cellular automata, which makes it possible to predict the diameter and depth of the defects, depending on initial conditions such as aggressive environment, temperature and duration of the course corrosion and increase the fidelity physics processes; - Improved method of cellular automata to reconstruct the probable piting damage of the surfaces of metals and alloys, which unlike known, considered the probability of transition to a state of repassivation individual defects and simulation of pitynha carried out provided the sample set in the center of the lattice cellular automaton before playing corrosion process; - Based on a single approach - the study of the characteristics of random point processes - developed image analysis methods metallographic systems for technical diagnostics.
