Description

Clinical and immunologic and experimental studies have shown that anti-infective resistance of upper respiratory tract's mucosa to bacterial and viral antigens, which include specific antibodies and non-specific components of the systemic and local immunity, can be enhanced through the use of mucosal vaccines on immunocorrection by the administration of immunomodulators from different origins. The local etiologic adequate vaccination concept was created, which is based on the insist that the most effective specific immunity in the mucosa is formed when vaccination is introduced by the same way that infection does, at the first administration of the vaccine especially.5481
