The purpose of work is research of nanomagnetite synthesis peculiarities due to transformation of weak-magnetic minerals (hematite or goethite) which situated in oxidized iron ores to strongly magnetic magnetite by means of different save energy and save materials methods, and also development of recommendations, in relation to the increase of iron-ore concentrates production efficiency from the poor oxidized iron ores. Technology of nanomagnetite synthesis was developed. Nanomagnetite synthesis peculiarities are studied under the influence of magnetic-field and ultrasound using the chemical co-precipitation method. With ultrasound applied, the saturation magnetization increases. The processes of iron oxides and iron hydroxides transformation and change of its magnetic characteristics have been studied using method of co-precipitation of ferrous iron and ferric iron salts in an alkaline medium. It was shown that peaks half-width associated with both particles size and structure imperfections. Technology of transformation of hematite and goethite into magnetite in the presence of starch was developed. It is shown that transformation of hematite to magnetite takes place at the temperature range of 400 - 600 °С. High-quality description of transformation mechanism of weak-magnetic hematite and goethite into magnetite has been made. The obtained results can be useful to subsequent creation of magnetite nanoparticles and for development of magnetite production methods from iron ores.
