The research aims to explore the ecology features of blood-sucking arthropods of Ukrainian steppe zone of (on the example of ticks). The work researches on the spread of blood-sucking arthropods in different natural zones of Ukrainian steppe; tessellation of their spatial distribution; adaptive diversity of life cycles; their potential hazard of being carriers of human and animal infectious diseases agents, including hunting animals. The research presents a detailed study of the population structure, especially biotope distribution, life cycles and population dynamics of ticks in different types of forests with registered natural foci of infectious diseases (tick-borne encephalitis, plague, tularemia, tick-borne typhus, Q-fever, Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever, and so on. d.). The results of research have been published in 12 scientific papers, including 1 monograph and 2 publications in multi-author book, 1 study guide, 1 international publication, 1 article in national research papers; 7 in international and national conference proceedings.
