The comparison of natural and calculated dynamic characteristics to verify the adequacy of the design scheme structure, the maximum approximation of the theory of calculation of reinforced concrete structures to their real work. Methods of research - analysis of the literature and author's own data, full-scale tests, the use of mathematical apparatus methods, modern computational methods. The simulation of the deformation of reinforced concrete slabs and shells by taking into account cracks under static and dynamic loads had been done. There were derived the physical equations of: reinforced concrete shells with cracks in the general case of anisotropy and complex state of stress; volumetric concrete elements with cracks; flat concrete element under the influence of short-term dynamic loading. An algorithm for the calculation of reinforced concrete shells and slabs with cracks had been developed. A numerical and experimental study of confined masonry buildings on seismic impacts had been done. The recommendations on the estimated support of the design and construction of such buildings had been developed.
