One hundreed and forty patients were examined, 67 of them with myelofibrosis, 34 patients with polycytemia vera and 39 patients with essential thrombocytemia. Karyotype of haemopoietic cells was examined using classic cytogetetic technique, and karyotype of haemopoietic precursors circulating in peripheral blood was investigated using improved method of karyotyping. Mutations JAK2V617F and MPL515L/R were detected with real-time polymerase chain reaction; level of proinflammatory and proangiogenic cytokines were determined with immunoassay technique. Prognostic markers were revealed for each of investigated MPN, which adequately reflect the risk of disease progression or development of thrombotic complications. For patients with MF among such factors are unfavorable cytogenetic aberrations, mutation JAK2V617F and high level of proangiogenic factor VEGF. For PV patients among such markers are proangiogenic cytokine VEGF and proinflammatory IL-8. For patients with ET new prognostic markers were revealed: mutation JAK2V617F, proangiogenic factor VEGF and proinflammatory cytokines TNF and IL-8.
