With a lamp pumping, Сa9La(VO4)7:Nd and Ca10Li(VO4)7:Nd crystals have exhibited a lasing. The technological conditions for growing ZnS:Cr2+ single crystals were developed, continuous-wave lasing with efficiency of 41% at 2,3 ?m has been achieved. The single-crystalline scintillation material ZnS:(Ag,Al) with the luminescence lifetime of 47 ns and 239Pu alpha radiation FWHM of ~5% was obtained.
