Different types of fractal dimension of ultrathin films were determined. Extinction spectra of noble metals nanoparticles were simulated in the frame of various models such as Mie theory, electrostatic approximation and discrete dipole method. The influence of interaction between particles on the extinction spectra was studied. The express method of the nanoparticle size distribution analysis in composite materials by their plasmonic spectra was proposed. The device that measures the intensity of scattered light was designed. The technique of neural network optimization that allows to implement inexpensive universal neural emulators based on standard microcontrollers was developed.
