Method of research - mathematical modeling, computational and physical experiments. For the first time the processes of energy conversion in underwater high-voltage electrochemical explosion (HVEE) in compact systems are purposefully investigated and the hypothesis of a "small amount" for the synergistic increase of force in the discharge-pulse technology (DPT) is validated. The dimensionless parameter that determines the mechanism of power impact on the object to be processed in HVEE and the relative specific efficiency of conversion of chemical energy of exothermic mixture into heat energy is identified and justified. The basic laws that determine the increase of this efficiency by 2-4 times are determined, and on this basis the algorithm of calculation combined energy for DPT depending on the specific technological tasks is developed. The results of the research are used in the creation of small-sized mobile equipment "Bazalt-M" on the basis of HVEE in limited volumes, which at identical productivity has several times less mass and consumed energy than the equipment "Basalt" which traditionally uses the principle of underwater high-voltage electric explosion.
