Methods of mathematical modeling of multiparameter interdependent processes of pulse plastic deformation of sheet-metal in the electrohydraulic forming technologies, including high-strength steels, are developed. The obtained results allowed to predict the principles of the most efficient technological schemes of pulse electrohydraulic forming. While the energy aspects of the problem, taking into account the efficient energy transfer and transformation in the system "power source - discharge chamber - treated object - matrix" are considered. The key role of wave phenomena in the liquid during the transfer of energy from the discharge channel and a steam-gas cavity of the deformable metal in the processes of electrohydraulic sheet metal forming is shown. The influence of cavitation phenomena in the fluid on the deformation of the sheet material under the action of waves generated by electrical discharge in water is determined. Four sources of waves that significantly affect the process of electrohydraulic forming of sheet materials are identified. The study of wave processes resulted in corrected positions which were the basis for the previously performed calculations of the fluid pressure on the deformable plates. The impact of high-speed hardening of high-strength sheet steel to increase their ductility and energy deformation is encompassed. The conditions to determine the parameters of electrohydraulic system are formulated to be the basis for the effective technological methods and schemes of the cold sheet metal forming of high strength steels developed.
