It is shown that the accounting of Pauli principle and nuclear polarization has very substantial influence on the results of calculations. However these factors acts in different directions. The exact account for the internucleus antisymmetrization causes a strong change in the potential, which is revealed in a decrease in the attraction between the nuclei as compared with the case where the internucleus antisymmetrization is absent, whereas the polarization, especially the quadrupole one, enhances noticeably the attraction. In this case, the polarization itself increases, due to the earlier and stronger overlapping of the nucleon densities, the action of the Pauli exclusion principle, but the resulting repulsion is less than the increasing mutual attraction of nucleons of two nuclei. In other words, together with the antisymmetrization, the polarization is a crucial factor affecting the interaction of atomic nuclei for small energies of their relative motion. Therefore, it should be taken into account in the consideration of low-energy processes of interaction of atomic nuclei.
