In the leaves and flowers of L. nummularia accumulated the special substances, that inherent high antioxidant activity. In addition, 10 individual identified compounds which belong to the group of flavonols. It was found that the alcohol extracts of flowers have a certain bactericidal activity against Staphilococcus aureus, Micrococcus luteus and Escherichia coli, and fungicide action against Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Candida albicans.
