Research subject methodological principles and practical aspects of the financial operations of public corporations in terms of the European integration. Research purpose is to develop proposals to improve the regulation of financial transactions of public corporations in Ukraine, taking into account the best practice in the EU. Research methods: analysis and synthesis; comparative analysis; statistical groupings; functional analysis; functional observations; economic and mathematical methods; logical and structural methods. Results and novelty: - methodological principles of improving the financial operations management of public sector entities to achieve fiscal stability were deepened; - forms, methods and tools of financial resources mobilization by EU countries' public corporations as well as the approach to financial management were systematized and proposals for implementation of better European practice in this sphere in Ukraine were argued; - the effect of large Ukrainian public enterprises' financial operations to balance public finances was estimated and the strategic approach to manage fiscal risks associated with the activities of these companies was determined according to international requirements and recommendations; - an approach to optimize the number of public corporations, based on the functional orientation of their activities was proposed; - the method of identifying major fiscal risks associated with the activities of Ukrainian public enterprises, the selection of the companies that generate major fiscal risks, and management decisions regarding their individual groups were developed; - ways to limit the negative impact of public enterprises financial operations in Ukraine to incomes and expenditures of the general government in terms of the implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU were outlined. The results of the scientific research can be used within the development of proposals to improve the financial sustainability of public corporations in Ukraine.
