The conditions of operating damaging appearance in the CT were analysed and the main factors were determined. The modified methods and equipment for CT materials testing under joint action of cyclic loading and operating environments are described. The results of preliminary tests of the CT elements were received. In particular, for inner surface of tubes the experimental dependences "lengths of surface crack-like defects - number of loading cycles" were built at different values of cyclic loading amplitude.
