The dependences of positive structural changes in the melt of the Al-Si system under the conductive electric current treatment (CECT) in pulsed mode were defined. The features of the distribution of the electric field in the liquid metal homo- and heterogeneous system and in nucleation are defined. Experimentally, using a pulsed high-voltage and low-voltage power sources, it is shown that a low voltage bipolar pulse repetition frequency of 24 to 40 Hz and current amplitudes 800 A most rational for practical use. When comparing the energy consumption and efficiency of CECT in pulsed mode has almost the same effect on the change of quantitative structure-modifying treatment as ligature AlTiB, but after CECT cast structure becomes homogeneous. When the melt was treated in the form of different cross section, the CECT, unlike melt's treatment of modifiers allows to obtain substantially the same structure parameters in different thickness sections of the casting. Numerically, it is shown that on the background of the electric field distribution in the macro-melt volume distortion of its electric potencial at the microscopic inhomogeneities plays a key role in changing the thermodynamic characteristics of the system. This leads to a rearrangement of the melt crystallization ability. Numerically, the possibility of management with the help of CECT the process of redistribution of the solid phase nucleation in the melt due to "Crystal Rain" effects.
