Regularities of connection between physical and technological properties (size and morphlogy of powders, specific surface area, bulk density, specific electric resistance and shrinkageof powders, microhardness) of elementary Al, Fе, Ti powders and their mixtures, and physical processes that accompany HVED are found by evaluation-theoretic and experimental methods. Variation of distribution of electric field was performed by using different electrode system constructions (point - plane and multipoint electrode system - plane) with invariable other treatment parameters. Possible structure - phase transformations of Ti - Al - C and Fe - Ti- C systems during HVED was analyzed basing on condition diagrams. Regularities of connection between phase composition changes of elementary powders and mixtures of mentioned systems and specific treatment energy and mass composition of initial mixture were established by X-ray diffraction analysis. Structure of modular power source of park-plasa sinering (SPS) device with increased current on output and software for SPS process control system were developed.
