It was found that paramagnetic Cr3+, Cr5+, Cr3+surf, O-, O2- ions are present in STO:Сr nanopowders. A correlation between O- and O2- content, synthesis conditions and particles size was found. Several impurity sites have been identified in the materials on PZT base, including Fe3+-oxygen vacancy complex and Pb ions. It is showen that increasing of the iron concentration leads to a distortion of the crystal structure and to improvement of the electrophysical parameters of the piezoceramics, stoping at concentrations of iron more than 0.4 mol.%). Ni3+ EPR signal was obtained for the first time. EPR spectra indicated the formation of phases of nickel and iron magnetoplumbite in some solid solutions.
