New technologies and means of mastering the English language provide a systematic promotion of scientific and professional teachers' activity, external and internal academic students' mobility, expanding the geographical scope of practice and training. Teaching students of English who are able effectively communicate, able to international contacts and intercultural interaction "dialogue of cultures" in the context of changing priorities in society is one of the urgent problems of modern higher education in Ukraine. During the research the staff of the department applied the theoretical, empirical and linguistic methods. The theoretical methods such as comparative analysis, synthesis of research, methodical and linguistic literature are used in order to study the theoretical aspects of the research; formalization, typology, classification, classification, problem-medot, comparative and descriptive methods are used to present the practical material; analysis of documents of educational process organization with students; empirical methods - teacher's observations, questionnaires, surveys, self-esteem are used as well.
