Methods: general clinical, biochemical, hematological, radioimmunological, immunoferment, cytological, statistics. Results: It was established that the DAA definition allows to optimize the methodological approaches to the earliest detection of immunological markers of type 1 diabetes in healthy individuals. The possibility of applying the DAA definition as an important diagnostic tool in clinical diabetology, as reflected in the group DAA+ children with debut of type 1 diabetes, which took place, as in the outlined group of children with a high probability of clinical manifestation of the disease risk was demonstrated. The effectiveness of identification of DAA kind, mainly GADA and IA-2A, with high diagnostic value and expediency of their use as the earliest markers predicting the risk of type 1 diabetes in DAA+ children with normal glycemia level was shown. It was found a group of marker-positive children with burdened heredity and risk for the development of type 1 diabetes, allowing the prevention of clinical disease debut from diabetic precomatose state or coma in many cases. The necessity of developing the methods for early diagnosis of type 1 diabetes was argumented and the effectiveness of their application was based, that could be the basis for developing the preventive approaches to prevent the development of type 1 diabetes in predisposed individuals.
